Pink Swirl Kaolin Face Mask

White and pink kaolin facial mask. This is a "wet mask", as it will not dry up on your skin, but provides a source of deep nourishing and balancing ingredients. Ideal for all types of skin, whether sensitive, fragile skin, or acne prone.

  • Application: this is a detoxifying and cleansing wet face mask to be use every 4 - 6 weeks, but equally suitable for use weekly. Its long lasting effect can be felt like liquid gold on your skin.
  • Directions for use: apply a 1- 2 mm thick layer to damp skin after gentle cleansing. Use spatula to help spread mask. Leave for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with gentle circular upward movements, working from the centre of the face out and upwards. Work gently around the eyes. Using a damp face cloth wipe any residual material. Pat skin dry and follow with your morning or evening skin care routine.

Cleansing: shea butter and the blend of clays are cleansing and detoxifying.
Soothing: extracts of aloe vera, cucumber and chamomile are soothing, calming and decongesting.

Anti-oxidant: oils of flax seed, borage seed and evening primrose are sources of ingredients that support the anti-oxidant processes that encourage cell renewal.

Rejuvenating: oils of flax seed and borage seed, together with shea nut and cocoa butters are sources of nutrients that support cellular regeneration. These will be more efficient as the clay blend removes waste and encourages detoxification.

Clay Properties and Benefits:

Pink clay is detoxifying, ideal for dry and sensitive skin, drawing impurities and is mildly exfoliating. Helps reduce inflammation from acne. Also, being rich in silica it helps to improve skin elasticity and cell renewal, for a youthful glow.

White clay lifts dirt and unclogs pores, reduces pore size, absorbs excess oils, softens and clarifies the skin. Ideal for normal, combination and even and mature skin.

Green clay is ideal for oily and combination skin because it restores skin function balance. It absorbs excess oils and because if it’s gentle cleansing action it helps to normalize pH. In addition, it stimulates cell regeneration for a glowing complexion.

Yellow clay is an ideal toner for dry and fragile skin, but it also gently absorbs oils contributing to an overall skin balance.

Kaolin is a very light clay with natural gentle absorbency properties. Ideal to absorb excess oil and sebum for all skin types.

This Size Option is designed to last for up to 4 weeks. This amount is sufficient to test the product's unique benefits and functionality, before committing to purchasing bigger sizes.

The Refill Option is provided in 2 x 25 ml recyclable foil packs specially designed for natural skin care products. This will allow re-use of existing containers, to encourage a more sustainable circular approach to skin care. The emptied foil packs can be discarded in the plastic kerbside bins.

However, the containers will need to be cleaned before refilling to avoid microbial contamination and spoiling of the Refill product.

Cleaning of the existing empty product containers (jar and lid) is easily done.

• Wash the glass jars and lids with dishwashing soap and warm water.
• Rinse well and shake to remove as much of the water as possible.
• Use paper towel to ensure that the glass jars and lids are properly dry.
• Leave these upside down on a piece of paper towel overnight to ensure that they are dry completely dry before transferring the Refill product into its old container.

The Travel Option is designed to travel light with your favourite natural skin care products. This Option consists of 1 x 20 ml packs.

Using foil packs specially designed for natural skin care products, avoiding to carry glass jars or bottles while you travel.
