Protective: safflower oil and shea butter, as well as grape seed oil, known for their natural sunscreen and emollient properties. Additional sun protection is also provided by the inclusion of zinc oxide, with a combined protection of at least SPF-10. Cocoa butter, calendula oil and the olive oil based waxes (cetearyl olivate and sorbitan olivate) are excellent emollient ingredients.

Antioxidant: special skin nourishment is provided with the extracts of aloe vera, cucumber, calendula, kiwifruit (NZ), orris root, and ginseng. Cucumber oil as well as L-arginine and L-histidine enhance the natural anti-oxidant properties of the ingredients.

Rejuvenating: all these ingredients benefit the skin as they are used to support cellular processes that are fundamental to good cell function, including maintenance of collagen synthesis and skin repair.

The Refill Option is provided in 2 x 25 ml recyclable foil packs specially designed for natural skin care products.

This will allow re-use of existing containers, to encourage a more sustainable circular approach to skin care. The emptied foil packs can be discarded in the plastic kerbside bins.

However, the containers will need to be cleaned before refilling to avoid microbial contamination and spoiling of the Refill product.

Cleaning of the existing empty product containers (jar and lid) is easily done.

• Wash the glass jars and lids with dishwashing soap and warm water.
• Rinse well and shake to remove as much of the water as possible.
• Use paper towel to ensure that the glass jars and lids are properly dry.
• Leave these upside down on a piece of paper towel overnight to ensure that they are dry completely dry before transferring the Refill product into its old container.

Using foil packs specially designed for natural skin care products, avoiding to carry glass jars or bottles while you travel.

Since these options weigh a fraction of the glass containers, they are perfectly designed to encourage circular economy and environmental sustainability, through saving space, weight and of course supporting recycling/up-cycling approaches.
