Founded by Dr Fernanda da Silva Tatley, PhD in Medical Molecular Microbiology. Azurlis™ brings expertise in molecular and cellular biology to the formulation of botanical skincare.

The process of aging is something that none of us can avoid, but of course there are ways in which we all try to minimise the negative and detrimental effects of aging, and this is something that has been practiced for millennia in societies around the world. For many the process of maintaining our youthful vitality and health, centres around taking special care of ourselves, keeping our minds and bodies active and well, but a key element in withstanding the visible effects of aging is the way in which we treat and care for our skin

The signs of aging skin are well documented; fine wrinkles that gradually become deeper and more pronounced and a lack of natural elasticity which manifests as sagging or drooping skin are the most frequently experienced and today there is a plethora of treatments available designed to at least minimise, if not reverse the effects of aging upon the skin. Azurlis, which had its humble beginnings in South Africa towards the end of the last century, but today have their base in Dunedin produce a unique range of organic skin care products, curated with care, extensive research – and most importantly with passion, by the founder of the company Dr. Fernanda. With a scientific background in molecular biology, Dr. Fernanda has utilised her knowledge of science and combined it with a driving urge to produce anti-aging serum products that exceed the performance of others available in the market today.

The Azurlis philosophy of nurturing both the body and the soul is fundamental to the production of their collection of serums, gels and creams, and the avoidance of harmful petrochemicals and similar compounds, exclusively using botanical products - the vast majority of which have been sourced here in New Zealand, means that you can be sure that when you turn to Azurlis products you will be using plant based, vegan skin care products. Furthermore, Fernanda and Azurlis do not support animal testing of their products, preferring instead to use human volunteers on which to test their natural, cruelty free skin care products in New Zealand.

The Azurlis range of Nz made moisturiser, including Bakuchiol skin care serums, boast formulas that are rich in vitamin infused botanicals that contain excellent anti-oxidants and proven cell regenerating oils, making the products suitable for all types of skin and whether you are seeking deep hydration for mature skin, a calming formula for sensitive skin or a menopausal skin care regimen to manage the overall health of your skin, the perfect product for you is amongst those produced by Azurlis.

Combining modern day science with ancient wisdom – and in particular the inclusion of Reiki into the production of the fragrance free skin care products from Azurlis, underscores the commitment to the fundamental belief that dealing with the aging process is utterly holistic; caring for your skin is an integral part of the process, but most effective when you care for your soul at the same time.

Azurlis, helping you defy the passage of time on your body and soul

The global market for skin care products is estimated to be in excess of $150 billion p.a. with further rapid growth in the coming years, and although the market is dominated by mass produced products from enormous companies, premium products from independent producers are rapidly gaining a strong foothold within the market.<

Azurlis™ is one such example; based in New Zealand and primarily sourcing natural ingredients from approved EcoCert and COSMOS approved suppliers, Azurlis™ have developed an outstanding range of plant based and cruelty free skin care products that reflect the companies’ philosophy on nurturing the soul through skin care, alongside having the minimum detrimental effect upon the environment.

Many anti-aging and menopausal skin care products contain retinol, which while effective can have some negative side effects; Azurlis prefer to use Bakuchiol, a wholly natural product that is as effective as retinoids but without the risk of dryness, flaking or irritation that retinol users sometimes experience.

Combining carefully selected botanicals to create truly vegan skin care products that contain no synthetic colours or scents and then using the energy of lapis lazuli and Reiki to encourage a sense of calm that makes you and your skin more receptive to the benefits botanical ingredients, helping you to focus on self-empowerment and improvement, both intrinsic features of the Azurlis ethos.

Azurlis™ New Zealand made skin care products are suited to all skin types, to future-proof against the signs of aging, creating supple and invigorated skin that makes you look and feel fabulous. When you require the premium solution to natural skin care in New Zealand, look no further than Azurlis™.
