Is this product for me?

Suitable for all skin types, especially formulated for maturing skin, this soothing Oil Cleanser with a citrusy-floral bouquet, is also a superb Serum.

An effective Cleanser and exceptional Serum for all skins types, wonderful for dry, mature, sensitive and fragile skins. The Serum benefits result from the fine protective and nourishing layer of oils that remains on the surface of the skin after cleansing. For deeper nourishment, re-apply one or two drops to seal the product benefits.

With a mix of floral, mint and citrus aromas, this silky cleanser lifts make up and cell debris, while strengthening and nourishing the skin. 

  • Application: Soothing and refreshingly floral. A deep, yet gentle water-free cleanser, that is also a really great make-up remover. Use also as a Serum following its application as a Cleanser. A real 2 in 1 product.

  • Directions for Use: 
  • To use as a Cleanser
  • Use the Jojoba & Aloe Facial Cleanser in the evening, as a cleanser and make-up remover. But, you can also use this product if you have a morning cleansing routine. Before applying, moisten your face with warm water. Pump 1 - 2 drops of the Cleanser onto the palm of your hand and spread the cleansing oil evenly over your face and neck using small circular movements from the centre of your face moving outwards.
  • To use as a Make-up remover
  • Use 1 - 2 drops on a cotton wool pad or a face cloth. Do not rub, rather massage gently, as if you were making love to your skin. Moisten your face again with warm water and continue massaging. Alternate massaging with the silky cleanser and moistening your face, continuing this process until the water run off looks clear. Wipe excess off your face with a moist face cloth and gently using your hands, pat the skin until dry. 
  • To use as a Serum, add 1 - 2 drops to the clean skin, and the very same cleansing ingredients provide a source of oils, with repair properties - The ideal 2-in-1 Cleansing and Serum product.
  • If you wish, follow with Crystal Mist Herbal Toner prior to applying either the Intensive Moisturising Day Cream, the Soul & Skin Nourishing Night Cream, a Serum or Eye Cream.

Macadamia integrifolia* (macadamia), Vinis vinifera* (grape seed), Cocos nucifera (coconut), Simmondsia chinensis* (jojoba), Butyrospermum parkii* (shea butter), Prunus armeniaca (apricot), Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis) infused oil, coco caprate/caprylate, d-alpha tocopherol (natural vitamin E), β-citronellol”, geraniol”, (l)-linalool” (“components of Citrus sinensis [orange], Rosa damascena [rose otto], Lavandula angustifolia [lavender], Mentha piperita [peppermint] essential oils).

Cleansing: oils of macadamia, grape seed, coconut and jojoba have natural cleansing properties in addition to their softening and emollient benefits.

Soothing: aloe vera infused oil soothes and helps to reduce inflamed skin.

Anti-oxidant: natural vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol). Its benefits are supported by nourishing and rejuvenating ingredients.

Rejuvenating: the oils of macadamia nut, grape seed, coconut, jojoba and peach kernel provide a source of ingredients that are nourishing, and are key to support optimal cellular regeneration. Essential oils of rose otto, orange, lavender and peppermint stimulate circulation and encourage cell renewal. Your skin is left feeling relaxed and supple… and your soul is exquisitely calmed.

This Size Option is designed to last for up to 4 weeks. This amount is sufficient to test the product's unique benefits and functionality, before committing to purchasing bigger sizes.

The Refill Option is provided in 4 x 25 ml recyclable foil packs specially designed for natural skin care products. This will allow re-use of existing containers, to encourage a more sustainable circular approach to skin care.

The emptied foil packs can be discarded in the plastic kerbside bins. In the future we hope to develop an up-cycling approach.

However, the containers will need to be cleaned before refilling to avoid microbial contamination and spoiling of the Refill product.

• Cleaning and drying of the glass bottle and push pump is necessary to ensure that these items are absolutely dry/moisture free before adding any Refill, especially if the product is an Oil-based, such as this Product.
• Using only bottles and pumps that are fully dried is very important to avoid microbial contamination.

Cleaning & Drying Process:

• Add 1 – 2 drops of the dishwashing liquid to the glass bottles, half fill the bottle with warm water.
• Re-insert the push pump, close the nozzle with your finger and shake it, a few times until any of the product remaining on the inside of the bottle is washed from the inside wall.
• Discard the soapy wash.
• Repeat until it is evident that there is no product left inside the bottle, i.e. only bits floating in the washing water.
• Add another drop of dishwashing liquid to the bottle and replace the push pump.
• Now push the soapy water through the pump to wash the pump and nozzle.
• Repeat the water only step a few times to remove any trace of soap.
• Shake the nozzle to remove any water, until only air is flowing through.
• With a hairdryer blow into the bottle to dry inside.
• Use the hair dryer to blow through the pump nozzle, drying the residual moisture.
• Leave bottle and the push pump on paper towel, overnight, in a warm part of the house, to ensure that both are properly dry.
• If the next day, you can still see some moisture in the bottle or any part of the push pump, shake and blow with the hairdryer until the water is gone.

The Travel Option is designed to travel light with your favourite natural skin care products. This Option consists of 1 x 25 ml pack.

Using foil packs specially designed for natural skin care products, avoiding to carry glass jars or bottles while you travel.

The foil packs are easy to pack in compact luggage, by saving space.

Since these options weigh a fraction of the glass containers, they are perfectly designed to encourage circular economy and environmental sustainability, through saving space, weight and of course supporting recycling/up-cycling approaches.

Early days but this is really helping

I really like this product. I use it as a cleanser at night, and if I feel I need a little extra “boost” I apply an extra very thin layer, as a serum. I am using a couple of other products alongside this (thank you Fernanda!) and the combination of all three is definitely reducing my dryness and flakiness. I need a little more time to truly judge the effects, but I’m guessing my next review will be 5 stars :-)

Thank you soooo much for your feedback Carren, which is fantastic and so shows the need fopr pacience and that most of the time results are not instant. After all it takes about 28 days for the top skin layer (erpidermis) to renew. But, as you might have read in my recent Article -

It is evident that if we don't have properly hydrated skin, the 'cellular machinery' that sloths off the old keratenised cells on the surface of the skin, can't work. So, ironically this manifests as dryness and scally crusty skin. Another ironical point is that even though dry skin is often fragile and we do not recomment exfoliation, in cases of very dry skin using a gentle exfoliator, will help to get rid of the flakky cells.

At Azurlis™ we have TWIRL that is a very gentle scrub and I will send you a sample for testing with the routine we have discussed. ;-) So, we are not done yet! :D

Love love love this 2 in 1 cleanser

I am very grateful to have learned of this beautiful product from the lovely Fernanda at a recent workshop- I would never have thought of using an oil based cleanser, but for my more mature skin it’s so lovely to use and with the added bonus and benefit of the serum included :)
